ahhhhh because i wanted to run but my head hurts so i cooked instead....i love salmon!

They mainly serve alot of lamb stuff which is fantastic grilled, baked,stuffed..as you can see we enjoyed the food alot...






and then we headed down to Blu Jaz just around the corner and then we had to meet another tutor by chance...our other crit...Ling Hao! ahhhhh! kinda weird and funny seeing him hang out there but hey! he seems like he goes there often to chill.



All in all we had a good time and its a real nice break before we start studying again

I'm gonna miss Studio One...

Submission and Crit

Here's what goes on before during and after crits/submissions

everyone scatters around looking for lost models,panels, last minute labeling or just relaxing(not a common sight)



And then you usually submit and go home, celebrate, maybe do a little hi 5 dance.BUT for us nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo... we had to do crit along with that. Pretty torturous after many a sleepless nights, plus you have to dress up for that. Anyhoo here's the pics of some us during our crit, sorry i didn't take everyone's pic..either i was busy getting my lunchdinnerbreakfast or i was preparing for my crit.

Monstrosity........tadaa!!! finally submission is over and having crit on the same day may be tiring but at least its over and done with. It'll take some time for the reality to set in that now all i have to do is mug for BU,history, Design and Environment and my gem module...urghhh...lemme take a break first.

its half time now....less than three days to go before submission and everyone's almost there. I'm too tired to sleep..all i do now is conk out. yes conk out.

Tanglin Camp Singapore Biennale

One more trip and probably my last before the hectic submission engulfs the rest of my life. Shucks and I haven't been to the Indus Road one nor the religious buildings one.

To cut the pretentious crapping Tanglin Camp has more videos and interesting spaces than the other venues though i still feel that National Museum's collection is better curated. Kinda busy now so just enjoy the photos, will find time to label the works (where due credit to the artiste is very much deserved).

oh yeah and Dawn, Molly and Joshua came along. one quarter Team Fong...which reminds me to tell all of Team Fong that we need one Kushinbo outing after submission yeah. set ah?





















Anyhoo the Biennale's admission to all venues is now FREE! so no excuse not to go unless your mother busy studying or preparing for submission like us. But its a good break from everything yeah. Just go can?

Studio+Beer+Wine=PARTAYYYYYYYY

and so the opening night for the sound exhibition went well and all and when you invite Belgium artists and the Belgium Ambassador over of course there had to be some wine and ...wait...wait...STELLA ARTOIS!!!!!!!!!


So we had abit too much leftover. People got drunk and all but we sure had fun!



When cans of beer and lousy red wine in cheap plastic cups enter the realm of the archi studio weird trippy things start to happen in your head and all around you....which is a normal thing in a studio session, just that this one is... well, lets just say FRIGGIN GOOD!



Where there is booze there will be the Korean exchange students! (with Yan Choo)

Here's me trying to sketch out something in "drunk mode"....just testing if I possessed any drunken master talent that Li Bai or Liam Gallagher had when they create masterpieces....didn't work for me..sigh..

and of course with every drinking session with JY we have to take a photo together to compare. As usual JY remains forever white....while I go red after two cans and many sips. One of my greatest achievements in life would be to make JY go red........but somehow the more he drinks the whiter he gets....



So yeah we wish we had more Exhibitions and Ambassadors coming over....with their national booze for us to waste ourselves upon. Keep them comin!


I look really wasted in this one but yeah...i managed to squeeze out a proper topography study and site map with sections on one A1....with much difficulty lah.
