Fried Chicken Skin
and assorted deep fried stuff. The chicken skin was superb, oily crispy deep fried chicken skin, it can't taste any better than the this, should go well with beer (though i really wanted a "100 plus" can drink that day). Sinfully good, terribly bad for arteries but no one really gives a damn.
Gurney Road Penang. Damn i want to go there again
School's started and the studio combinations can't get any better than this. We have a UN group of 12. Students from Vietnam, Myanmar, Korean, Mauritian, Malaysian and a Serbian Tutor. (and the 4 of us from sg) I think we're gonna get Mr Rashid from Bangladesh next for p2 (yayyyyy). woot! i won't swap studio with anyone hahah!

haha was searching the web for a picture of my beautiful fried chicken skin
went all the way to penang just to eat it but got so full on other good penang food that i missed it .... will need to wait another year when i get back to malaysia :(

ah yes chicken skin is heavenly. The food in Gurney Drive and the rest of Penang is wonderful.
do you live in singapore? why do you have to wait one year? penang is just a days worth of a bus ride or a short plane(if you have wads of cash to blow) from here.
Saw this pic when my friend sent me the linkie of thisiswhyyourefat.com and I instantly recognise where that came from..by instinct? Hehe..nice picture and made me salivate. There's 2 of this type of stall in Gurney Road. The other stall's gravy taste better. When you visit Penang again, do try the other one. ;p

oh wow. Penang's my hometown but i swear i don't quite remember seeing this. Whereabouts of Gurney Drive is this?
