Stairwells, elevator spaces and toilets are naturally ventilated.
Office corridors can be naturally ventilated too due to its wing walls.

Then we thought, hey why not try to see how high up this building we can go without being stopped?

so i casually walked into the lift, hit the top floor and found the emetrgency stairwell. Walked up found the door unlocked and voila!

open sesame.

The view from the top roof deck is damn nice. The shophouses look so tiny here.

my favourite photo of this series happens to be of Darryl checking out the stair detail. This will probably be the shot in some magazine when Darryl get famous and they interview him on his influences when he was younger.

could also be the front cover of Darryl's solo edition of A+U.

any is still amazed how we got all the way without anyone stopping us. Oh and just so you know the top floor houses another architectural practise and the can access the roof deck directly...how cool is that, can smoke break/beer party/bbq up here at night!
