Melaka: the food
Ceveat!
not to be viewed with an empty stomach
if not enjoy.....
From the best teochew restaurant on earth...Teo Soon Hock Teochew Restaurant in old Melaka Town. The boss, this balding man with the most perfect teochew, tells me that 70 percent of his business is from Singapore. He is one funny entertaining fella with his stories of the late president and ministers visiting his restaurant....

At the House of Chendol in Jonker Street. Not too far away from Teo Soon Hock. Damn good stuff at damn cheap price. Perfect for a hot day.

From a roadside store, you can find these anywhere. The lady selling these kuehs wakes up at 5am every morning to prepare them...eat your heart out bangawan solo. This is the good stuff and its cheap too...real cheap
